Job Description

 

  • Working hour: 9am--5:30am Mon-Fri, 9am--12pm Sat(Once a month)
  • Location: Tuas West

Job Description:

 

  • Perform engine repair work, engine testing, engine commissioning, and troubleshooting for power generation engines (both land-based and marine) and main propulsion engines.
  • Conduct mechanical repair and troubleshooting tasks for equipment such as MHI Deck cranes, Mooring Winches, Kamome Propellers, Thrusters, and Kawasaki Thrusters.
  • Generate service reports detailing findings and recommendations as necessary.
  • Offer technical support to site engineers as required.
  • Provide technical assistance to customers when needed.

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Ability to read and understand basic mechanical diagrams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in Japanese is essential as the role involves direct communication with Japanese clients, ensuring effective and accurate exchange of information.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally by flight or by sailing with vessels.
  • Capability to work outdoors and onboard vessels and stations located overseas.
